This Easter was very fun since it was the first Easter that Ellie was old enough to participate in some of the fun, although I can't wait until next year when she will be old enough to start understanding, in a small way, the true meaning of Easter. But this year we gave the kiddo's a super fun egg hunt. Last year Ellie and Hudson looked on as Hailey had her own personal egg-fest, but this time around they gave her and the other kids that joined us a run for their money. Ellie was into it! She picked up on what to do very fast, but was more interested in opening each egg as she found it than getting a bunch of them in her basket. But she had fun, for sure! She loves her cousin's house so much and by the end of the day she was dazed and ready to pass out from all the fun!

April at the Getty
The Getty Museum is such a beautiful place, and we took Ellie there on a beautiful Saturday for her first visit. She absolutely loved the wide open spaces to wander in, and all the sensory stimulation--so much to see and touch! Pictures in the galleries are limited to no flash, so we only got one photo of her looking at Van Gogh's "Irises", but it was so fun to watch her recognize the real paintings from the copies she has in her books. Once we were done with the galleries, we hit the amazing garden. She was in heaven with all the blooming flowers!! What a wonderful day. :)
