She is growing up so fast!! She's almost 10 months old, and her food list keeps growing and growing, though there are definite "dislikes". Favorites are Cantaloupe and Cottage cheese, Multi-grain toast with a little cream cheese, vanilla baby yogurt and oatmeal, Turkey breast and cheddar cheese bits, and her NEW favorite: Pasta with red sauce. Oh, and chicken. She's a little carnivore and will eat chicken any time any day. Oh and scrambled eggs, grapes, and apples! Oh and sweet potatoes, watermelon, squash....well you get the idea. She's got a healthy appetite, but of course stays away from sugar and bad fats. Below was today's pasta and chicken at lunch.

Getting around!
Eliana is definitely getting around in a big way! She does her daily rounds of the downstairs part of the house, making sure to explore every nook and cranny she can fit into, and she makes sure to hit her favorite spots--the oven window, the kitchen in general (where mommy usually is), and various playstations I set up for her around the house. And I love her "Little Bo Peep" leggings on those chubby legs!
Bookworm!
One morning Ellie was just UP. At 5:30 am. So what better thing to do than to have some book time with her fave books and toys. She LOVES to read her books, with me or by herself. She has her favorites, and she recognizes the characters in her books as the same ones she sees on her Baby Einstein dvds. Such a smarty. And silly me, the post begins with the last picture taken, when she finally went down for a nap at 9am, nicely folded over. So funny. And I just love that her Dolly copies her!!
Little Chipmunk
Imagine my surprise when I go in to get Eliana one morning and her crib rail is chewed up like a little chipmunk was in her crib with her! It's become her favorite thing to do when she's awake in the wee hours of the morning. Does she call for mom? Nope, she just plays quietly in her crib until about 7am, which is GREAT, except that sometimes she'll get the urge to eat her crib.
We are working on getting it covered and one day we'll have to refinish it!
Also included are just a couple cute little Bathtime pics...

Hanging around with Mama
After Eliana's Stair Adventure, we just spent some silly time on the floor, hanging out and playing around. It turns out that Ellie is a bit scared of her tutu! I think she's just freaked out that she doesn't know what it is---this big fluffy mess with no eyes, and no face??? What's up with this, Mom? So she tries to climb up Mama to get away from it!! So funny! Playing with Mocha is also always fun. She is learning to "throw" Mocha's "egg" for her. It's very cute. Enjoy! :)
